The Light Board started with the discovery of an old Polaroid Land Camera at a thrift store in 2018. By this time the only remaining film for camera was already out of production by Fuji. This left a small window of time to work with this camera and instant film to create a series of instant film collage boards. The instant photos brought the light paintings mostly indoors due to the fragility of photograph. It also changed the method of how the light paintings were shot. Music, lighting, and calm space brought a more direct connection to the light image. With the film no longer being made, each photo on the board is one original artwork that will not be reproduced with this particular size, color, and camera in the foreseeable future.
